Answers to the questions buyers ask us most. If yours is not here, send it over — an engineer replies within 24 hours.
What is your minimum order quantity?
For catalogue lighting products the minimum is one carton per model. For custom moulded parts it depends on the tool: as a guide, 1,000 pieces per shot size keeps the unit price sensible. Tell us the annual volume you expect and we will quote the breaks.
What is the lead time for a first order?
Standard products ship 35 days after the purchase order. If the order needs a new mould, allow 50 days including tool trials and first-article approval. Repeat orders run on a 25-day cycle.
Can you work from our drawings?
Yes. Send STEP, IGES, DWG or PDF files. We return a DFM report with draft, wall-thickness and gate suggestions before quoting the tool, so the price you get is for a part that can actually be moulded.
Who owns the mould?
You do, once the tooling invoice is paid. The mould stays in our shop for production and maintenance, it is labelled with your asset number, and it is never used for another customer.
Which certifications do your products carry?
The plant is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Lighting products are tested to PSE for Japan and ETL / UL for North America; other markets can be added — the test reports are in your name.
How do you control quality during production?
Incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection are three separate functions reporting to the general manager. Every sealed fixture is air-tightness tested and every powered unit is burned in before packing.
What are your payment terms?
For a first order: tooling 50% with the order and 50% on sample approval; goods 30% deposit and the balance against the bill of lading. Terms for repeat customers are agreed case by case.
Do you ship door to door?
We quote FOB Qingdao by default and can arrange CIF or DDP through our forwarder. Qianwan Port is a short inland leg from the plant, which keeps the freight cost down.
